This 40,000-square-foot remodel, expanded to 250,000 square feet with parking and transit access, transformed the MLK Transit Building into a vibrant hub for the Los Angeles Blue Line. Johannessen Construction reimagined the space with shops, restaurants, a major bus stop, and park-and-ride services, all anchored by striking architectural details. Highlights include an enormous arched skylight that floods the interior with natural light and a dramatic central fountain that became a defining feature of the complex.
